Profile, Prospects, Positioning, Product Development, Promotion: The 5 x Ps to Unlocking Your KTP Market
Tuesday 21st March, 1pm-3.30pm (online)
As part of the Innovate UK KTP Capacity Building project, the University of Plymouth’s Innovation Funding Team and Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business have worked with Michael Lavery of Brand & Reputation to develop a bespoke marketing strategy to grow KTP activity within the South West Creative Economy.
Building upon our experience of unlocking the “new-to-KTP” market within the South West Creative Economy, Michael will deliver this practical workshop for KTP Knowledge Bases across the UK. The session will explore a strategic approach to true market engagement, and provide ideas to refresh your own KTP marketing plan and approach, covering:
• KTP marketing redefined – a strategic approach to true market engagement
• Understanding your KTP market
• The right channel, with the right message, at the right time – the power of targeted KTP marketing
• Developing a live KTP marketing plan
• Key learning – the principles that you can apply to your KTP industry sectors, products and projects
Michael Lavery, is CEO & Founder of Brand & Reputation, adviser to the House of Lords on the brand of UK education, and a former Executive Director (External Relations) in the HE sector at Durham and Teesside universities.
The Innovate UK KTP Capability Building competition aims to increase the capability of organisations in the UK Knowledge Base (Higher Education, Further Education, Research and Technology Organisations, and UK Catapult Centres) to participate in the Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme. This KTP project was funded by UKRI through Innovate UK and the event is free and open to all UK Knowledge Bases.
