Come and celebrate outstanding social science research at Cardiff University and beyond!
28th of July 10am-3pm, SPARK, University of Cardiff
The Social Science Innovation Fayre is a first of it’s kind free celebration of the social sciences.
The fayre consists of a series of stalls and exhibitions to explore topics relating to social science, from health and wellbeing to crime, equality, education and identity, through events run by researchers from Cardiff University and beyond (including UK universities and external partners)
This fund event has been created to encourage, support and create opportunities for social science researchers to engage with academic and non-academic audiences. Each stall will promote and increase awareness of their individual and wider cohort of social science research, it is a chance to increase the awareness of the contribution social science makes to the wellbeing and the economy of society in the UK. The fayre will enable the public to engage with social science research and engage with external audiences and to raise their awareness of the social sciences.
There will be a variety of social science research stalls, raffles, entertainment and food available throughout the day; so come along and join in the FUN!
