Problem
While many people are attuned to noticing harmful behaviours, ranging from micro-aggressions to serious assaults, not everyone feels equipped or confident to challenge them.
Solution
A bystander approach equips individuals with the confidence and skills to notice, step up, and act when they witness something harmful. Building more equal and inclusive communities and workplaces thus becomes the responsibility of everyone – not just those directly affected.
Kindling provides evidence-based training to enable people to confidently and skilfully intervene. This means there is a body of published research from which we have developed our programmes. Data informs both the content of our training, and how we deliver it.
