ASPECT Translational Impact Accelerator Hub: SHAPE Pre-Accelerator Showcase

In partnership with ASPECT’s Translational Impact Accelerator Hub we are delighted to invite you to the SHAPE Pre-Accelerator Showcase hosted by Cardiff University. The Pre-Accelerator has supported three cohorts of potential SHAPE (Social Sciences, Humanities and the Arts for People and the Economy) commercialisation projects from the Aspect Network. To celebrate the success of the programme and the cohorts involved, we are delivering an interactive, in-person showcase day, comprising a workshop, networking opportunities, pitches, and panel discussion at Cardiff University’s Social Sciences Research Park.
The showcase will deliver:
1) “The Future of the Workplace” Innovation Workshop: Demand-led activity hosted in collaboration with a local (Cardiff) but national business (TBA)
2) Pitch Event: Your chance to present your journey through the pre-Accelerator programme, practicing your pitching skills in a friendly environment and gain valuable constructive feedback from a panel and your peers
3) Panel Session: “The role of SHAPE ventures in driving impact during times of crises”: Hear from, and ask questions to, a variety of stakeholders around SHAPE innovation and its importance within the context of current societal issues.
The interactive showcase has been designed to maximise engagement and networking with SHAPE entrepreneurs across the ASPECT consortium. We hope that participants will enjoy the day and gain valuable insight into research and innovation opportunities in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
